Skin care product along with makeup primer: 

Although our Primer contains moisturizing ingredients, you may need to continue using a small amount of your moisturizer for extra hydration or skin care. Skin care products should be applied sparingly under primer. 

By using small amounts of skin care (no oily creams) under your makeup, your primer will work as it should. You can then fall back on a richer skincare routine for nighttime.
